Why this exists
I spent a decade in finance across three institutions: JP Morgan, PwC, and EY. The work was good, but the public commentary on Indian markets was almost universally terrible. Either too academic to act on, or so promotional that you couldn’t trust the source. The investor who needed real, rigorous, original thinking, and was willing to pay for it, didn’t have a place to find it. I built Compound with Raunak to be that place.
What I do here
I publish weekly essays on Indian markets, sectors, and businesses. I run an Inner Circle for serious participants who want the deeper work: live trade calls, structured curriculum, and direct access. I write for the investor I used to be, when I was sharper than my advisors but didn’t yet know what I didn’t know.
What I’m not
Not a SEBI-registered Investment Advisor. Not a tipster. Not the loudest voice in the room. I’m certified by NISM as a Research Analyst, which means I’m qualified to analyze. I’m not qualified to tell you what to do with your money. Nobody else is either, no matter what their bio says.
What I’m building
A small, serious community of investors and traders who treat markets as a craft, not a casino. People who want to compound their understanding before they try to compound their capital. If that’s you, the door is open.
